MitySOM-A10S system-on-module (SOM) based on an Intel/Altera Arria 10 SoC
MitySOM-A10S is system-on-module (SOM) based on an Intel/Altera Arria 10 SoC. The module can be used in a wide range of industrial embedded applications.
In addition to the A10 processor, the module includes on-board power supplies, two DDR4 RAM memory subsystems, a micro SD card, a USB 2.0 on-the-go (OTG) port, and a temperature sensor.
MitySOM-A10S SOM provides a complete and flexible CPU infrastructure for highly integrated embedded systems, including on-board power supplies, two DDR4 RAM memory subsystems, and a rich set of user interfaces.
MitySOM-A10S is available with a 270KLE Arria 10 SX (160 KLE and 480KLE are optional) which provides dual-core Cortex-A9 32-bit RISC processors with dual NEON SIMD coprocessors.
The Cortex-A9 can run a rich set of real-time operating systems, including Linux.
MitySOM-A10S board supports both OpenCL™ and high-level synthesis (HLS) tools for accelerating design cycles and targeting C/C++ code to the FPGA.
A version of the MitySOM-A10S with dual side connectors is available, primarily meant to be used in imaging applications. Critical Link’s MitySOM-A10S-DSC processor with embedded Linux provides operating system support, versatility, and ease of customization for complex imaging platforms.
Applications for the MitySOM-A10S include machine vision, test and measurement, embedded instrumentation, industrial automation and control, and industrial and medical instrumentation.
